I'm a solo artist living in Suffolk, England. Although I have played in several bands over the years (see below for details) I am currently concentrating on writing and recording guitar instrumentals with the emphasis on melody and passion. My CD will be available later this year...

I first got a guitar when I was 17 and joined my first band, 'Omen' a year later. The band gigged around Lancashire for around 4 years, playing rock covers and originals before everyone went there own way. After moving to the Cambridge area and playing in a couple of bands I formed 'Renegade' - another orginals/rock covers band. We played throughout East Anglia for another 4 years, recording several demos under several lineups, but eventually problems finding a bass player meant we stopped gigging. We'd already set about recording tracks for a CD and continued with this - in the meantime I filled in on lead guitar for a gig at Junction and a recording session with thrash metal band, and a gig with a mates blues band. Finally Renegade split without completing the CD and I went another two years without a band.

In 1997, I joined 'Hope & Glory', a Cambridge based rock band, again playing covers and originals. This lasted for 3 years, but I never totally felt a part of the band. Eventually the band split - in total the band had been playing for over 10 years in total and had run it's course...

Without a band now I decided to finish off the Renegade CD. I had the master tapes, access to the same 16 track recorder used to make them, and was building up my own home studio. I took a few months out from work, transferred the masters and re-recorded everything myself except for the vocals. The result was a 9 track CDR entitled 'Tinder Box'.

The next band was The Hinge, a strictly covers rock band from the Peterborough area. After about a year I moved further away into Suffolk and had to leave the band.

At this point, after an attempt to get another band going, which resulted in only two gigs in two years, I decided to concentrate on my own music, writing and recording rock instrumentals (a la Cyrka, Vai, Satraini). The result of posting these on the internet is that I have met online, and collaborated with, many very talented musicians.

I'm currently in the process of completing my CD - it is an 11 track CD entitled 'Out Of The Ashes' and is in the mixing/mastering stage. I hope to have the CD completed by early summer 2009......
